Methods of Healing, Balancing, and Awakening

Your present reality has been shaped by your beliefs and thoughts. You, my friend, are like a magician with amnesia! Today, I will take you by the hand and guide you to your own truth. Somewhere along the way, in your day-to-day adult life, you've lost the magick of who YOU are, and what YOU are capable of. So in this lesson, I'm going to remind you of your magick, Beloved.

The word sigil is derived from the latin word sigillum, which means seal. It is also thought to be related to the Hebrew word segula (סגולה0), meaning word, action, talisman, or item that has a spiritual effect. In the darker, medieval times when ceremonial magic was being practiced, the term sigil referred to the occult signs that  represented various angels and demons, which the practitioner might summon. These sigils were considered to be equivalent to the true name of the spirit, and thus granted the practitioner a measured control over these beings! Sigil magic short circuits our affirmations into a simplified version that our subconscious mind can recognize instantly. The hardest part of creating a sigil is deciding what it is that you truly desire. Yet, when sigil magick is paired with the healing and aligning of the chakras, this becomes quite simplified, for by discovering what areas of our psyche suffer most, we are empowered to make direct changes to aid us in our transformation and recovery process!

When the intense experience of a Reiki session is combined with a good solid visual of the desired manifestation in regards to healing, a client can then simply close their eyes and envision their sigil, projecting the mental image out into the cosmos. When the desired outcome has been manifested, the sigil is then destroyed, the desired manifestation brought into reality and thus properly let go of.

If you're new to sigil magick, it is strongly advised that you seek someone experienced to perform this magick in regards to the alignment and opening of your chakras. I do not know of many other practitioners who have incorporated this method into their practice, but I have found that it has worked wonders for both myself and my clients in equal measure. In order to create a powerful sigil personal to the client/self, one must be completely grounded and spiritually stable. One must also be severed from ego, which is why this is more easily accomplished by the practitioner rather than the one who wishes to be healed. Because my sigils are created uniquely for each client and their needs, I cannot readily share specific healing sigils for the chakras. However, a great sigil I provide to returning clients to maintain balance is shared below.

                                             My chakras are in alignment

Other powerful tools which aid in healing the chakras include amulets/talismans and meditation beads. I typically custom-make these for clients depending on the chakras which need attention, the colors most necessary to heal/activate/balance these chakras, and personal preference.

Finally, one of the most important methods used in chakra healing and balancing is the use of mantras paired with affirmations.

OM: The most well known and universal of the bija mantras; it is the sound of creation and causes energy to gather and flow upward and outward. OM is the mantra of acceptance and assent. It helps you to accept your higher self and allow energy to flow openly and freely through you. It also serves as a gathering mantra, gathering your inward energy and preparing your energy for movement. KRIM (pronunciation “kreem”): Chanting this mantra stimulates your lower chakras to awaken and begin purifying your body. SHRIM (pronunciation “shreem”): Its associations lie with the head and third eye. It promotes bodily and spiritual health but can also be used to bring beauty and happiness to one’s senses. HRIM (pronunciation “hreem”): This holds powers of healing and creativity.Chanting this mantra awakens compassion and purifies the heart. HUM (pronunciation “hoom”): This evokes the breakdown of negative feelings and spreads positivity and vitality throughout the body.

As you chant the mantra, you can also try the hakini mudra.  Bring the tips of all 5 fingers to touch, with the thumb and pinkie fingers nearly in line with each other.  Hold the mudra in front of your solar plexus as you chant the bij mantra or meditate.  Alternatively, try the rudra mudra, with your pointer and ring finger curled in to meet your thumb and your pinkie and middle finger extended.
